On March 2, 2020, an extraordinary report-election conference of the RSNTTD (All-Russian public organization "Russian Society for Non-Destructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics") was held in Moscow.

Director of “CPS “Welding and Control” LLC D.M. Shakhmatov, who is the Chairman of the Board of the Chelyabinsk Regional Branch of the RSNTTD, also took part in the “NDT Territory 2020” Forum and the XXII All-Russian Conference on Non-Destructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics, which took place on March 3-5, 2020 at the Central Exhibition Complex “Expocentre” on Krasnaya Presnya.

The Scientific and Technical Conference has been held by RSNTTD every three years since 1956 and is the most important scientific event in Russia and the CIS countries in the field of non-destructive testing and technical diagnostics.

The forum traditionally combined an exhibition of modern equipment and technologies in the field of control, testing and diagnostics, as well as an extensive business program. As part of the business program of the forum, dozens of issues of practical use of control and diagnostics in the aerospace, oil and gas, energy, metallurgical industries, railway transport, mechanical engineering and metallurgy, construction industry, welding industry, as well as issues of medical diagnostics, anti-terrorism security, standardization, certification and staff training.
